Wetron provides daily ADR, groupage, partial and full loads to and from The Netherlands, Belgium, the German-Dutch border area and Italy. Wetron specializes in transport to Italy and offers a variety of possibilities to transport goods by rail and road.
Next to a significant CO2 reduction, choosing for intermodal transport increases the loading capacity with 10% for the transport of heavy goods. The maximum load capacity for a trailer is 28 tons and 25 tons for our volume swap bodies. Tolls, delays and driving restrictions can be avoided by combining road and rail transport. Intermodal transport is the perfect solution for goods that have to cover a great distance.
In collaboration with our local partners and with the use of our own fleet, we ship to and from Italy. Because of this we are able to anticipate the increasing demand for parcel shipments. For the distribution of shipments to city centers, trucks equipped with a tailgate and a pallet truck are used.
In Italy rules, as stated in the ADR regulations of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), are equal to the Dutch rules. Our drivers are certified for the transport of hazardous goods. They have to complete a course about the transport of hazardous goods every year.
Transport and sustainability might seem two different things. However, a great deal of progress can be made to reduce the emissions of hazardous goods. By combining different kinds of transport it is possible to reduce the CO2 emissions and offer attractive rates. We would like to talk to companies about reducing CO2 emissions even more.
