Our experienced & able drivers form the critical success factor and an invaluable link in the daily service. After all, they are the ones who have to perform based on your wishes and demands.
They, together with our modern equipment, are the visual presentation of the company, both on the road as with our clients.
In performing their duties drivers need to take into consideration the local laws, driving hours restrictions, safety regulations, check ups, safety, crime, environment, traffic jams, toll, driving routes, gas stops, axle pressure damage preventions as well as the different rules and regulations per country and per address.
A Wetron driver is a real professional who works passionately, with dedication, responsibility, cost effectiveness, good fellowship, craftsmanship, personal care and neatness as attention points.

Every potential driver goes through an elaborate selection procedure. Our driver coordinators hereby determine whether the knowledge, expertise, experience and personality provide a sufficient basis for a successful long term work relationship.
From there on the driver receives an extended introduction and training period as co-driver with an experienced and qualified Wetron mentor driver..
Once this is finished successfully the new driver can start to drive on his own in one of our modern and environmentally friendly trucks with full Wetron equipment.

Wetron also invests in young people wanting to become a driver. They’re the future after all. These future “knights of the road” are, in cooperation with professional schools, educated on Wetron’s expense during a course of 2 years (combined learning and working).
After completion they can start professionally at Wetron where they get step by step guidance to become a fully learned (inter)national driver.

All Wetron drivers are regularly trained through courses and further education. Think of courses about fuel usage, load securement, damage prevention, ADR, equipment, boardcomputer, internal houserules and official regulations.
